Western countries suspend funding for UNRWA
Palestinian refugees in the kingdom live under difficult circumstances, representing the largest
proportion of Palestinian refugees in the diaspora. They face challenging issues in housing, education, humanitarian aid, and health and social care. The cessation of UNRWA funding, which represents a lifeline for millions of them, poses an additional challenge that plunges them into a cycle of ongoing humanitarian and economic hardships.
With sorrow, as we refugee expressed our concerns about the decision to cut financial
support to UNRWA, warning in manyinterviews with concerned against the reduction of the agency's services and the negative impacts that the decision could have on a broad segment of the Palestinian people and our service activity.
We need external support anddonations to continue our ability to provide our services and activities targeting disabled individuals and poor families that include cases of disability.
Requestfor Assistance for gaza Camp Center
At the Gaza Camp Center, we work diligently to provide care and assistance to families of people with disabilities in the Gaza Camp area. These individuals do not have the rights of ordinary citizens, as they are refugees from the Gaza Strip and live in extremely difficult conditions as refugees.
Since our inception, we haveoperated under the name of UNRWA, butour services are entirely dependent on humanitarian aid. We provide daily support to families by offering medical and healthcare supplies, psychological support, and education for children with disabilities, as well as other essential services that contribute to improving their quality of life.
We rely on the generosity ofindividuals and institutions to ensure the continuity of our services. Therefore, we make this request to all kind-hearted individuals and supporting
institutions to contribute to the support of our center and assist these refugees who are in dire need of your help.
